CHAMPAGNE GOLD & BROWN

ASO EBI

What we treasure the most is your presence on our special day. So, instead of selling you aso ebi, we’ve elected to only prescribe a colour code—champagne gold & brown. Take the full dosage, or stop whenever you feel right—you decide how you turn up.

HOW WE MET

Though well on its way, blogging had yet to become completely associated with the display of lurid spectacle. Yes, Linda Ikeji sat tentatively above a coterie of imitators but no one would throw a worrisome glance your way if you claimed to be a writer who maintained a blog. What’s that? One of these blogs was the scene of our first meeting.

Our minds met first. In hindsight, there was something Indian about that meeting, this time with the universe playing conniving Indian parents. We knew nothing about it, had no say in the matter but here we were strapped into the seats of the most dramatic roller-coaster you can imagine. Six years down and now we can fart in each other’s faces.

GIFTING

It’s enough that you’re happy for us. But should you wish to celebrate us with a wedding gift, we’re opting to only accept cash gifts—if it’s not too much to ask.

We greatly appreciate the effort & thoughtfulness that you would no doubt have put into getting us gift items but they will impose a big burden on us.

And Kayode doing the same.

Off they go, legally married.
